The Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival was founded in March 2016. The Festival’s purpose is to “make the world a better place”. The Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival was founded and is produced by Soundslinger LLC Sunshine Productions producer Steve Sybesma and Superfly producer Paul Peck founded the Festival to bring people together with music, dance, art, food and serenity.

Located on 600 acres in Sunshine Grove Okeechobee, Florida, the event features several stages hosting many bands, multi-cultural artwork, food and beverage trucks selling craft beer and food with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. The event also features yoga, meditation and holistic workshops. The first festival featured great bands including Kendrick Lamar, Mumford and Sons, Bassenecter and Skillex. 32,000 people attended the event and it continues to grow. Attendees can camp on the beaches of Lake Okeechobee or pitch tents and campers in designated areas. Guests are entertained day and night.
